4th Day Reunion Groups

What is an Emmaus Group Reunion?

“The Emmaus group reunion is a small accountability group of two to six persons (or more) who have participated in the three-day Walk to Emmaus and who want to continue their pursuit of a life lived wholly in the grace of God.  These small follow-up groups help pilgrims translate the message conveyed on the Walk to Emmaus weekend into a daily walk with Christ.  With the regular support of a few faithful friends, the gift of God’s love in Jesus Christ becomes a lifestyle of Christian discipleship through the threefold discipline of piety, study, and action.”

  1. We are newly re-engaging the 4th Day Community because such a large amount of our spiritual formation can be arguably linked back to the worship and teaching experiences found there; the personal and corporate prayer to which we gave ourselvesfreely and ardently to during these times; the joy of humbly serving others inside a life-giving Christian community; evangelism, mentoring, life-coaching, discipling. We have experienced all these sacramental moments and much more as Candidates, Clergy , Staff and Volunteers within Tres Dias, Via De Christo and Cursillo and Walk to Emmaus. They have been life-changing experienes for us. We want to get back into community again and draw others to warm up to His Glowing.

I am retiring after 30 years with the Army, spending the majority of those years as a Chaplain. I was a Candidate on Tres Dias weekend in Seoul, S. Korea in 1988. Served as Spiritual Director and/or in a Clergy support roles in subsequent weekends in both Colorado and S. Korea. Mary has also made her walk with Cursillo and subsequently volunteered and sponsored new candidates. We’re very much looking forward to finding the right niche to bring our gifts and learn from, love and inspire others to live and love well.

    • Are you now living in central PA? Please go to the “schedule” section of the web site and attend one of our Gatherings. We would love to get to know you.
